How Melochip handles your information.
This Privacy Policy explains what Melochip collects, why we collect it, how payment providers support billing, and how you can contact us about privacy requests.

Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you create an account, update your profile, configure billing details, publish content, ask or answer community questions, create resumes or portfolios, save tools, subscribe to newsletters, or contact support. This can include your name, email address, username, profile details, billing country, postal information, content you submit, support messages, and account preferences.
Account, community, and content data
Melochip stores account records, authentication state, profile and portfolio content, resume data, article drafts, published posts, comments, reactions, reports, moderation records, and related metadata so the platform can operate, secure, display, and moderate those features.
Billing and payment providers
Melochip does not store full card numbers. India subscriptions are handled through Razorpay where available, and international subscriptions are handled through Paddle after Paddle checkout is enabled. Payment providers may process payment method details, tax information, invoices, fraud checks, and transaction metadata under their own policies. Melochip stores billing status, provider identifiers, checkout attempts, receipts, plan information, and webhook results needed to manage Pro access.
How we use information
We use information to provide Melochip features, authenticate users, secure accounts, process subscriptions, provide support, maintain audit and safety logs, improve product quality, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and communicate important service or billing updates.
Retention and deletion
We keep information while your account is active or while needed for platform operation, security, billing, legal, tax, dispute, and abuse-prevention purposes. You may request account or data assistance through the Contact page. Some records, such as payment, audit, fraud-prevention, or legal compliance records, may be retained after account closure where required or reasonably necessary.
Your choices
You can update account, profile, billing, notification, and privacy settings where those controls are available. You can contact Melochip to request help with access, correction, deletion, privacy questions, or billing-data concerns. We may need to verify your account before completing a request.
